I am the head of the Davidson Research in Immersive Virtual Environments research lab. Our research is interdisciplinary and involves collaboration across computer science, psychology, and education. Our research topics may appear dispersed, but a common thread through this work is the impact on the user. My research interests include virtual reality, locomotion, navigation, avatars, embodiment, usability, and system design and evaluation. I am happy to talk to any students or faculty about collaborating and potential research ideas that involve virtual reality and the user.
